What counts as a "seat"?
A seat is any named user with access to a specific module. A staff member who uses Tribe (HR) and Vault (Finance) counts as one seat in each. The same person using two modules pays for two module seats. Inactive users don't count.
Are prices per module or for the whole platform?
Per module. You pay only for the modules your users access. SyndewOS platform and Oluṣọ core identity are always included at no charge. You can add or remove modules at any renewal period.
What's the difference between self-hosted and cloud-hosted?
Same product, different infrastructure. Self-hosted runs on your servers — air-gapped and fully sovereign. Cloud-hosted is a dedicated instance (not shared SaaS) managed by us. Both have full data export rights. Cloud adds a 20–25% managed hosting fee.
Can we start on one deployment mode and switch?
Yes. Migration between self-hosted and cloud is supported with full data export/import. We'll help with the migration process. Contact us to discuss timing and approach.
How does the community tier work?
Organisations earning under $1M annually get full platform access free. You self-declare annually. There's no compliance audit or documentation required — we take your word for it. If your revenue grows above the threshold, you transition to paid pricing at your next annual renewal.
Is there a minimum contract length?
Starter and Growth tiers are billed annually. Enterprise agreements are negotiated — typically 12–36 months. There's no monthly rolling option at Starter/Growth tier.
